To connect the top of a form to a shape or form

  1. Select (Modify Form).
  2. Click Modify the Height of a Form icon.
  3. From the Method option menu, select To Shape.
  4. Identify the top shape that to connect the form to.
  5. Accept the selection.
  6. Click the Reset button.
  7. Identify the form to connect or extend.
  8. Accept your selection. The form extrudes against the shape(s) and/or form(s).

    CAUTION: Selected shapes and/or forms may not overlap. The form is extruded twice over the overlapping area.

    Note: Only the part of the form that is covered by a shape and/or form is extruded. The part of the form that is not covered retains its original height.
    Note: If a projected edge of the form coincides with an edge of a shape or form, the extrusion may not be calculated due to tolerance settings. If necessary, move the edge of the shape — even as little as one positional unit.
